My name is Jordyn Rudolph, I am a sophomore at FSU studying education.
I am an only child and I have a 150lb dog who is the family favorite. I am from a little south of Jacksonville Fl but I was born in Tampa.
This past summer I studied abroad in London which was one of the most amazing trips i’ve ever taken. 10/10 recommend.
I have a very small family that is super close.
My prior experience with technology in an educational setting includes smart boards, iPads, iClickers, and computers.
I noticed a lot in younger grades the kids tend to get distracted by the technology and sometimes it isn't as beneficial as people previously thought.
I do agree that there are plenty of benefits to using technology in the classroom.
For example, students have access to limitless amounts of information that they may have not been able to learn in a textbook.
Technology is also a good way for students to express their creativity through applications that are provided through the technology.
